Registration is up and running for the 2021 Sport Manitoba Multi-Sport Summer Camp and tennis will be one of the featured sports. The camp is open to kids aged 8-13 and will allow participants to try out different sports and activities, such as badminton, fencing, tennis, curling, and more.
The Town of Tuxedo originally built Tuxedo Tennis Club with 4 shale courts. Before Tuxedo was amalgamated into the City of Winnipeg, the town enhanced the club by adding lights to courts 1 through 4, and added courts 5 and 6.
The 700 + members, 10 indoor courts and 6 outdoor clay courts offer plenty of opportunity for casual and competitive play for all ages. We arrange and schedule league play, provide a variety of round robins, tournaments and evening social tennis events, as well as match games for our new members with existing members.

The camps are for juniors of all levels (placed in groups based on age and ability). Focus will be to practice the fundamentals of the game such as ground strokes, volleys, serves, and rally skills.

Payment is due on the first day the lessons start. Sign up individually or sign up with your own group. Cost per class: 1hr = $33.00/person + gst with one of the Taylor Tennis Club instructors. 1hr = $33.00/person + gst with Coach Eriko Castillo - Senior Coach. 1hr = $35.00/person + gst with Coach Jared Connell - High Performance Coach.
All other City-owned and operated fitness, leisure centres and indoor pools remain closed at this time. All City-owned and operated arenas remain closed.
